How conjugation works
Vowel harmony: stems with back vowels (а, ы, о, ұ) take back endings; front-vowel stems (ә, і, е, ө, ү) take front endings.
Present continuous: stem + а/е/й + personal ending. e.g. бар-а-мын = "I go".
Past (definite): stem + ды/ді/ты/ті + personal ending. The voiceless variant (-ты/-ті) follows voiceless consonants. e.g. бар-ды-м = "I went".
Future intent: stem + мақ/мек + personal ending. e.g. бар-мақ-пын = "I intend to go / I will go".
